Born in Modica (Sicily), she has studied choral music and dance since
her teens. She obtained her Isef license in Rome, and began a creative/choreographic
path with Theatre-dance.
Cecilia has always been inspired by her great passion for song and dance,
which she lives and practises, intermingling their distinct languages,
and experimenting with alternative approaches, aware of how her own
roots, solidly based in the agricultural tradition of her lovely Modica,
represent the only credible foundation for an evolution of thought and
of style, as well as the necessary starting point to overcome the limits
imposed by places and times.
